This is a mature site. It deals with matters of sexuality and relationships, so should be considered not safe for work (NSFW). For reasons of productivity and privacy, you may not want to be browsing on your office network.
VioletFawkes.com is a site to explore your sexuality. It deals with matters of sexual growth, building intimacy with partners and growing and being whole in yourself. It also explores kink as a positive and valuable means of sexual expression. You’ll find reviews of a broad array of sexual products, to use alone or with others. The content on the site can be very specific at times. Some is autobiographical, or shares the real and felt experiences of others.
Topics of mental health are covered as well, and you can expect to find discussion of trauma and abuse, sexual assault and other challenging topics. We would all love to live in a world where these things don’t happen. They do and they are real. It is possible to be healthy, whole and loved, but many of us have experiences that currently prevent us from fully being the person we aspire to. This site doesn’t shy away from these issues, and tries to offer meaningful insight and guidance.
i strive to include content warnings on content and links so that you are empowered to make choices about what you experience here. Please heed content warnings and read at your own discretion. I read all comments and respond to them when possible. Please remember that the work that I share here is deeply personal, both for myself and for others. While I value feedback and critique, comments are moderated. Trolling, antagonistic comments, abuse and cruelty will not be tolerated.
I am committed to this site being a safe space for everyone to explore, learn and grow. Positive and constructive sharing, exploration and discussion is not only welcome, it is encouraged.
As well as being an educator, I am also a student. The content I share is intended to be relevant and educational. It encourages exploration and flexibility, avoids advocating for “one true way” and strives to be as inclusive as possible. Everything here should be consumed with care and critical thinking. This site should not be your sole source of information or guidance (nor should anywhere else). Do your research, reflect on what it means to you and how you relate to the content, and above all play safe.
Thank you for being here, for growing alongside me, and for trusting me with helping contribute to your own personal journey of love, intimacy, wholeness and amazing sex.
