“What will people think?”

Who cares, we’re in love.

“But what will they say, behind their hands, when we look away? They will think we’re different.”

We are different, we always have been.

“They’ll say we aren’t normal that we are different from everyone else.”

We are not alone and we are alike to so many. We are everywhere, since time immemorial. This world is as much ours as anyone’s.

“I wonder why they want to destroy us?”

They have never had to be afraid.

“You’ll really kiss me, right here in front of them?”

I will. Let them talk. Let them see how courageous love can be.
