I’m so excited that Hyacinth Jones is hosting Every Damn Day In June again. This is the third year I have participated and the third year it has motivated me to blog daily and be more planful about ensuring that I have the resources (and ideas!) in place to blog every damn day for 30 days. I hope you read along, it’s going to be great.
I’m going to go ahead and state the obvious: things are a bit crazy at the moment. The world appears to be falling down around us and everyone is so tired. Some days, maintainingsanity and the most basic ‘adulting’ is a daily feat, but normalcy and routine seem to help, despite me not being one for normalcy or routine. That’s part of the appeal of doing EDDIJ: it makes for some gentle community accountability and motivation to stick with it and write every damn day.
I think I will try to do these posts in the morning, with coffee and breakfast, so I can’t promise they will be fully lucid. I hope you join me.
That’s all for now – back tomorrow, and every damn day in June!
Every Damn Day In June is exactly what it sounds like: it’s a writing prompt run by the most excellent and effervescent, Hyacinth Jones and all it requires is that you write every damn day in June. Link up your posts on Hy’s site and join in!
