Welcome to the April edition of Write Big Sexy Words!
Hello Word Nerds, it’s time to stretch your vocabulary once again and exude the writerly confidence of someone who is packing a big, juicy, personal lexicon.
A word or two about March
March was a crazy month. We were all reeling from some community drama in February, then I got sick (not with you-know-what), then suddenly we were in a worldwide pandemic, and this blog felt very small and very insignificant. I’m only now getting back into the swing of things, and even that feels tentative. However, normalcy is very soothing so I am putting forth April’s words with the theme of Magic & Mystery, because we are living in strange and uncertain times that call for, that require, fantasy and escapism and the possibility that there is more to our world than simply what we can see.
It couldn’t be easier: on the first of the month, each month, I will share a blog post containing 9 big sexy words and their definitions, along with examples that use them in an erotic context. Feel free to use the words and phrases as writing prompts or simply as a resource to bolster your vocabulary and add some new words to your already brilliant writing ideas.
If you use these big sexy words, (and even if you don’t!) feel free to link up your post(s) at the bottom of this page.Â
