“All the beauty of life is made up of light and shadow.” – Leo Tolstoy

We all grapple with our Shadow Self sometimes. It is the darkness, the sharp edge of the abyss, the voices in us that trick us and tell us lies. We cannot conquer the Shadow Self, it is not something we can vanquish or undo. We can learn to accept its presence and moderate its message, we can choose to recognize the Shadow while living as a creature of Light. We welcome this harmony when we stop apologizing for our Shadow Self and forgive the flaws of our Light Self.

  1. How Zoroastrian! We are all full of contradictions – intermingled shade and illumination. What a beautiful way to show this!

  2. “we can choose to recognize the Shadow while living as a creature of Light” how pertinent this is for me as well. I love your curves, and the way you are touching your body.
