Maximus Dildo From Too Timid

When I unwrapped the Maximus Dildo from Too Timid it made me ooh and ahh immediately. Lovely to look at, handsomely detailed, and designed to please. It’s a winner in every way! Just look at it! Classic styling, realistic and not too over the top in size. Make no mistake, the size and feel does not disappoint but is also fully manageable without being overwhelming. Let’s just say that if I could magically have a penis for a day, I’d basically want it to be just like Maximus.

The Fine Print

Maximus is an 8″ dildo with 6.5″ of insertable length to play with. It’s a hefty, 1.9″ at the thickest and the texture of the surface is more skin-like than rubber-like, which is lovely, and its flexible shaft is dense and quite realistic. Its nicely detailed, well veined and the overall sculptural quality is very satisfying. The suction cup is huge and makes for very sturdy play in the shower, tub, or against any flat horizontal or vertical surface but also doesn’t impede handheld play. This is a quality toy and it feels as close to the real thing as you can hope to get.

My Experience

Honestly, as toys go, I can’t get enough of this dildo. Before endeavouring to write this review I tried three different scenarios with common user experiences in mind: Solo (hand held), Solo (hands free), and With a Partner. All three scenarios were vaginally penetrative although I suspect that if you were comfortable with the diameter, the dense but soft texture and detailed surface would make it a very satisfying anal toy.

Solo (hand held)

I’m happy to report that the massive suction cup bottom did not impede hand held play whatsoever, and I have small hands! Even slick with my favorite lube the surface was not overly slippery and it was easy to manage and manipulate. Due to the straight/natural shape (vs g-spot “hook” shaped), when using it in hand I didn’t find it perfectly g-spot compatible. It certainly reached and was present but it wasn’t a slam dunk. The girth and weight of it was nice to use in hand, as well as its realism. Definitely an exciting toy if you’re looking for a realistic sensation.

Solo (hands free)

The suction cup on this dildo really works. There was no hesitation or worry using it on a horizontal surface, (I stuck it to the bottom of the tub and sat on it until the water got too cool!). But where Maximus really shines is vertical surfaces like the shower wall. Backing up on it that way was a great way to test out the sensations at maximum depth. 6.5″ may not seem big but the combination of girth, length and meaty density makes this a great toy for rear entry positions if you like that truly full feeling and g-spot stimulation.

With A Partner

Variety is the spice of life and experiencing new sensations and variations is what makes sex so much fun. Using the Maximus with a partner was great, and he found it easy to maneuver. We discovered the joy of using it “balls up” for clitoral stimulation and found that the contours of the modestly sized but sculpturally pleasant testes were great for that extra rub.
