A woman watches her body uneasily, as though it were an unreliable ally in the battle for love.

Leonard Cohen

The theme this month is daily routine … body criticism and adjudication is an all too real part of my day. Every day. I’m tired of thinking and worrying about my body and how it’s perceived. So very tired.

  1. I think this is true for most people – that self-criticism is part of our day. One of the best things about being a part of this community, though, is the support and love that folks give each other for being and looking exactly as we are. And you are lovely.

    1. Thank you so much, Jo. This community has changed my outlook for the better and improved and altered how I see myself. Hate to admit it, but I used to be much worse.

  2. Self criticism is such a constant nightmare. I’m not sure if helps but you look perfectly fine to me, and that is one gorgeous cleavage!
    Indie xx

  3. You look wonderful to me. You’re right too much is made of what we look like. I know it is a cliché but it is the person’s spirit that is more important. x

  4. You are beautiful because you are YOU. We are all perfect the way we are. It’s long past the time when what we look like dictates our worth.

If you rely on the mirror, you’ll never see your beauty.

  5. I think after a while you are just so fed up with worrying about what others will say that you just really don’t care anymore. It’s a gorgeous image. Just believe in yourself.

I'd love to hear your thoughts ...
