Toy Review: Noje G Slim Rechargeable Vibrator

I suppose it happens eventually: you come across a toy that you’re testing and reviewing that you really do not like or does not work for you. It doesn’t happen often, but I’m sad to say it’s the case with the Noje G Slim Rechargeable Vibrator by Blush Novelties, sent to me compliments of PeepShow Toys.

Details and Experience

I wanted to like this toy, honestly I did. It’s a simple design – straight forward and clearly made for GSpot stimulation. Sign me up! I like simple, I like my GSpot. What could go wrong?

To put it plainly, this vibe just wasn’t enough in any way. For me it was too slim to be stimulating, too “buzzy” and high frequency for my GSpot or my clit and it just wasn’t pleasant to use. I failed to realize ahead of time that it would be all plastic and I was disappointed with the build quality. Hard plastic toys always feel, well, cheap, in hand and this particular one has a vague seam running it’s length. When I opened the package my husband wrinkled up his nose and said “That looks like a vibrator from a Dollar Store.” Unfortunately, I can’t disagree.

The website description boasts “10 Deep Rumbly Vibration Functions”. This is not at all what I’d describe as “rumbly”. I found it loud and buzzy, hard and slippery, especially once lube was introduced.

Why You May Have Better Luck With This Toy

  • If you are a fan of vibrators right on your GSpot (I learned I am not!) this will be a great toy for you because that bulbous head “hits the spot” very well.
  • If you like the unrelenting firmness of ABS Plastic vs the cushier feel of silicone, this vibe will deliver
  • If you are into a variety of functions but aren’t too concerned with the strength or frequency of the vibrations then you may really enjoy the 10 functions
  • It’s rechargeable!
  • ABS Plastic is easy to clean and can be fully sanitized

Bang for your buck

The Noje G Slim is only $35.00 putting it on the low end of rechargeable vibes. This is a case of getting what you pay for, perhaps, but if the GSpot style and materials work for you it would be a decent buy, just not one that I, personally, would invest in.

Overall rating

The combination of the build quality, the unsatisfying vibration and the unfriendly plastic makes this a toy that I don’t recommend based on my experience – but remember, we’re all different. What doesn’t work for me could be your favourite toy!
